Second Youth Group Day 2009

The Second Youth Group Day on 27th September 2009 is behind us…
The days pass quickly.
Many of us were up at the crack of dawn, because for many the centre of the country (Hilversum and Almere) is still a long drive. The young people, involved with the arrangements, also had to be there on time. There was a lot te be done in both communities and the big halls were well occupied for the special service.

On the invitation the Apostle had written: We are 'Children of the universe', all of us. We belong together. Everybody wants to be happy, we have that in common. That is the reason why we have chosen for this year's theme:

'I am me.
You are me.
We are I, we both.'

What really matters is that you are all your own 'me', you are unique, and there is only one like you. We are all different, and yet we are the same, we are human. And all the 'me's' make one we.
And that is what we felt! We, second groupers, had a super cool day.
