What happens after our life, we do not know. We do know that we want to search for answers to questions that cross our path during our life. One thing The Apostolic Society has in common with Humanism is the emphasis on the 'here and now'. Within The Apostolic Society the belief in an afterlife is (no longer) upheld. We keep the memory alive of those in whose disposition, in whose 'spirit', we live on. That is what makes life so meaningful!
This requires people to be there for each other in a practical way. To live life together, to comfort and to encourage one another in the world in which we live. We want to inspire one another. Why? To make our life as meaningful as possible. What do we mean by meaningful? We want to work towards peace, towards honest, beautiful loving and open relationships, towards showing respect for each other, towards tolerance and towards building a humane world for everybody.

The Apostolic Society is a contemporary religious community. We feel connected to the eternal mystery of creation, which we call God or Almighty.
In our Sunday services we reflect on values as sense of forgiving in the day tot day practice.
